HNW investor acquisition

Investor acquisition fails on audience quality long before it fails on creative. We start from a known audience rather than an anonymous one: our own investor subscribers, plus licensed data from vetted providers that we re-verify and suppress against before use. That means we can size a segment and tell you its consent basis before you commit budget, rather than discovering both after the first send.

  • 540k+ Investor profiles
  • 195–266% ROI on delivered campaigns
  • 65k Content platform subscribers

The audience

Our investor data covers Institutional, Ultra High Net Worth, High Net Worth, Sophisticated, ISA and retail investors, alongside financial intermediaries. Every profile is held on a GDPR compliant basis with a documented lawful basis for contact.

Segmentation runs deeper than demographics. We filter on net worth band, portfolio size, investor type, stated investment interests, risk appetite, market activity and content engagement history, then layer professional attributes such as industry, job title, seniority and income.

Where the data comes from

We are straight about this because compliance teams ask and because it affects what you can safely do with a campaign. Our reach is built from three sources, and we can tell you which one a given segment sits on.

  • Owned: investor subscribers built and maintained over seven years through our own publishing titles and content platforms, opted in directly with us. This is the audience we control end to end.
  • Licensed: investor and B2B data sourced under contract from vetted providers, each with a documented lawful basis, which we re-verify, deduplicate and suppress against before any campaign runs.
  • Earned: first party engagement data from campaigns we have already delivered, which sharpens targeting and lookalike modelling with every cycle.

Geographic coverage

  • United Kingdom: HNW investors, wealth managers, sophisticated and property investors
  • Europe: France, Germany, Spain and Italy
  • GCC: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman
  • Africa: South Africa and Nigeria, including Afrikaans speaking and offshore capable investors
  • Asia: Singapore and Hong Kong

Expat wealth and executive audiences

A specialist strand of the database covers Western expats and international executives on overseas packages, filtered by income band above £100,000 and £250,000, by role from Director to C-suite, and by sector across oil and gas, defence, financial services and pharmaceuticals.

These audiences are difficult to reach through conventional media buying because they sit outside standard geographic targeting and rarely respond to generic financial advertising. Direct, permissioned contact is the practical route in.

Scaling beyond the database

Once a core segment is performing we model it outwards. Lookalike audiences, behavioural profiles and interest based segments extend reach across paid social, native and search while holding the conversion characteristics of the original list.

Compliance

Financial promotions carry real consequences when they go wrong. We work to your compliance framework, submit copy for sign off before deployment, and keep regulated claims, risk warnings and audience suitability inside the brief rather than treating them as a final hurdle. Where a client has an internal checklist we work to it directly.

Common questions

Is the investor data GDPR compliant?

Yes. Every profile is held with a documented lawful basis for contact, and we can evidence provenance and consent position on request before a campaign starts.

Can you tell me the size of my target segment before I commit?

Yes. Because the database is ours, we size the segment during scoping. You see the reachable count, the channels available against it and the indicative cost per lead before anything is signed.

Which channels can the investor audience be activated across?

Email, telephone, LinkedIn, native advertising, paid social and content syndication. Most campaigns use at least three, because a single touchpoint materially underperforms a sequenced approach against this audience.

Do you work in regulated financial promotions?

Regularly. Property investment, fixed income, private equity and wider financial services are our most active categories, and we build compliance review into the campaign timeline rather than bolting it on at the end.
